Vietnam’s state firm Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Dofico) has started building “Agropark” livestock complex that is being developed with the Glon Group from France for the production and processing of livestock. The project covers 2187ha in Thong Nhat and Xuan Loc districts. The construction will be done in two phases with the first one, worth VND 1.4 trillion (USD 70 million), due for completion in 2013. Once fully operational, the Agripark will be capable of supplying 1 million pigs annually for processing into a variety of pork products for domestic and export markets.
